Parking

There is a good number of parking lots around the Tahko Center if you wish to travel by your own car. Few charging stations for electric cars locates nearby Piazza and Hophaus parking area.

Public transport

Vilkku, a public transport of Kuopio City, operates route Kuopio–Siilinjärvi–Nilsiä. Check out tickets and timetable here.

Ski Bus

Ski Bus shuttle between Tahko and Nilsiä is free of charge for everyone. The rides are offered by Tahko Mountain, Break Sokos Hotel Tahko, PNT Active Oy / Tahko Chalet, TAHKOcom Oy, SkiMac and Kuopio-Tahko Markkinointi. Check out more detailed timetable here.

Taxi

Might be that you need to take a taxi to get to the final destination, Tahko. Most taxi drivers in North Savo Region speak some English and all taxis are equipped with meters. The easiest way to order a taxi is either download taxi app or calling to Kuopio taxi for instance.

Shuttle bus Piazza – Panorama – Piazza (Thu 4th of April)

During the second event day on Thu 4th, event provides a shuttle bus service for event attendees. Scheduled route runs from Piazza to Panorama Bar and vice versa. Because of the lack of parking areas on Panorama Bar we highly recommend event attendees to use free shuttle busses to get around. On the average, the trip one way takes approx. 30 minutes depending on the weather or the condition of the roads.

Panorama Landscape Hotel is a new experience for Lakeland travelers. The Spa is located right next to Panorama Bar that is the head event space for Thursday the 4th of April & TSLP.

Hotel Spa is called the Forest Spa, and it has many different outdoor and indoor spa experiences and saunas. Elias Aalto is one of the founders and the original product lead of Wolt. He's also a co-founder of Qvik – a digital agency that has grown organically to over 120 experts. Juho Pesonen is a professor of tourism business and deputy head of the department at University of Eastern Finland Business School. He is a member of the Tourism Business research group and the director of the International Master’s Degree Programme in Tourism Marketing and Management. Prof. Pesonen completed his Ph.D. in marketing at University of Eastern Finland, focusing on market segmentation in rural tourism. Now his research focuses on understanding how tourism businesses can survive and thrive in the digital and sustainability transformations. Prof. Pesonen also has the title of Adjunct Professor of digital marketing at University of Turku. He has widely published his research in dozens of peer-reviewed academic journals and has edited several books in the tourism field.
